1. Software Trial and Purchase Terms
1.1. Trial Version: A trial version of the software is provided for evaluation purposes only.
1.2. Acceptance Upon Purchase: Upon purchasing the software, the product is considered “accepted as tested” by the customer.
1.3. Defects and Remedies: The software has been carefully tested by the developer. In the event of a defect, www.software-kronberger.com reserves the right to either fix the defect or issue a refund for the purchase price, minus any applicable credit card transaction fees.
1.4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be Salzburg, Austria.

3. Data Collection and Privacy
3.1. Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form. An anonymized string (hash) of your email may be sent to Gravatar service to check if you use it. You can review Gravatar’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/).
3.2. Media: Users are advised to avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site may extract such data from uploaded images.
3.3. Cookies:

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt to have your name, email, and website saved in cookies for convenience. These cookies will last for one year.
  • A temporary cookie will be set when you visit the login page to check whether cookies are accepted. This cookie does not contain any personal data and will be deleted once the browser is closed.

Articles on the website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). this embedded content behaves as if the visitor were accessing the external site directly, which may collect data and track interactions with the embedded content.

5. Data Sharing
For the Single User License, the serial number of the user’s PC is collected and stored for the purpose of verifying and enforce licensing conditions.

6. Data Retention
 Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely in order to facilitate automatic follow-up approvals. After the expiration of the license period, users my request data deletion.

7. User Rights Over Data
Users have the right to request an exported file containing their personal data. Additionally, users may request data deletion of their personal data, except for data retained for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

8. Data Processing and Spam Detection
Visitor comments may be processed through an automated spam detection service.
